I think concrete has such a unique look, and there are thousands of ways to customize and get exactly what you want. I am definitely a fan.

I love concrete countertops! There's so much you can do to customize the concrete other than just the "concrete" look. I also love the idea of brick. It gives the room amazing character. I had wanted to put brick veneer in my parents' kitchen.

Also, I've heard that concrete gets stronger over time due to the molecular make up, so concrete counters could be a really good idea!
